Service Description

Provides safety and security information to seniors through individual home visits with seniors and community presentations.

Topics covered by the program include:

  • Personal safety and household security
  • Consumer frauds and scams
  • Telephone, mail, computer, and traveling sales scams
  • Internet safety and security
  • The Vial of Life Program
  • Identity theft prevention
  • Seniors and the law
  • Senior abuse awareness and prevention 
  • Age friendly awareness presentations
  • Vial of Life service
Anyone interested in receiving the Vial of Life can obtain one thorough the program.

Eligibility

People who self-identify as seniors or those who could benefit from services and support offered * There are no age requirements or restrictions
