Description

Provides care for acutely ill or injured patients, who should not wait to be seen by a family physician.

Due to the unexpected unavailability of a physician, some emergency departments must close. Please call the emergency department, 8-1-1, or visit the Nova Scotia Health Emergency Care website first to ensure the emergency department is open.
