- The Property Tax Rebate for Seniors helps low income seniors with the cost of municipal residential property taxes. Rebates are 50% of what you paid on last year's property taxes, up to a maximum of $800.

- To qualify for the rebate, you must meet all of the following criteria:
* You have paid your 2023 municipal residential property taxes in full
* You lived at the property as your primary residence in 2023
* You receive or are eligible to receive the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) or the Allowance from Service Canada - Application Process
- Application forms are available from the webpage. Contact the numbers listed or write to the address listed below. Completed forms can be returned in person to an Access Nova Scotia office or by mail. Pre-populated forms will be mailed out to those who have claimed the rebate before. First-time applicants must complete an application form.
