Service Description
Through the Nova Scotia Restorative Justice Program, those who have been affected by criminal harms (individuals and community) have the opportunity to work with those responsible or who contributed to what happened together with others who can offer support to consider the contexts, causes, circumstances, and impacts of an incident.
The program is delivered by a network of community-based agencies. More information is available on the website.

Restorative options are available at 4 key entry points in the justice system: Referral by police officers • Referral by Crown Attorneys • Referral by judges • Referral by Correctional Services or Victims’ Services staff
