Service Description
Accepts donations of human remains to be used for the advancement of medical education and research.
If at the time of death, the Inspector of Anatomy determines the remains can be accepted, the program will cover costs of transportation from the place of death within the Maritime provinces, cremation, urn, interment of ashes in the Dalhousie Memorial Gardens or the shipping of ashes to the next of kin or designate.
Eligibility
Donations must be 19 years or older • Subject to acceptance by the Inspector of Anatomy at the time of death
