Service Description

Provides affordable rental housing to seniors (age 58 and older) with low incomes. Rent is determined by household income.

Rental units contain a stove and refrigerator and include heat and hot water. Some units are accessible for people with physical disabilities. There are units located across Nova Scotia.

Eligibility

• To qualify for one of these units, you must complete an application form and meet the guidelines for income, residency and core need
• To be eligible you or your spouse must be at least 58 years old
• Special consideration will be given to people with physical disabilities and other special needs
